RESOURCE INFORMATION
CSI In School Support is designed to make sure that schools get off to the best possible start with CSI ONLiNE. Sometimes it pays huge dividends to get the 'expert' in to introduce a new programme. At a very low cost we offer the following
Two hour Start-up training session 1. A look at the rationale behind the programme - the routines and the developmental stages
2. Making sure staff understand how the technology works
3. Clear modelling and practice of the two important teaching components - teaching a strategy to the whole class, and the guided strategy practice in small groups.
Follow-up Day
This is arranged at a time that is appropriate to the progress the staff is making. It involves observation of each teacher in action with written and oral feedback (very non threatening) and a written report to the CSI Coordinator identifying next steps.
FOR SCHOOLS OUTSIDE OF NEW ZEALAND Obviously because of international travel costs this format will not be appropriate. Alternative arrangements can be negotiated as has been done for Shanghai Academy in Hong Kong. Please email us for further details.
